Devotion and music generally go together. All music has evolved out of ‘OM’- the mystic symbol of the Absolute, formless God. To worship Lord through music is Nādopasana. Śabdopasana and Nādopasana are other names of meditation. Just as body needs food (bhojana) for its sustenance, the soul needs bhajana.

Namasankeertana is one reliable means for expression of devotion. It is the highest kind of love- it is love for God. Devotion has no room for any intermediary. It is the highest and the best.
